A Troop Of Echoes & Small Fires

A Troop Of Echoes & Small Fires

Following on from their album release last year with ‘The Longest Year On Record’, A Troop of Echoes make a swift return in 2016 with the release of their first video single ‘Small Fires’ from the aforementioned album.

The song ‘Small Fires’ is an intriguing instrumental that fuses indie, post-rock and jazz, and with its video accompaniment charting the stages of the recording process in relation to the album and subsequent tour once the album was finished.

With ‘The Longest Year On Record’ being tracked almost exclusively in the band’s practice space by long-time friend Graham Mellor, and mixed by Andrew Schneider (Unsane, Pelican) at The Seaside Lounge in Brooklyn, it is an album that deserves to be heard such are its merits and excellent musicianship.
