Brontide To Bid Farewell

Brontide To Bid Farewell

Fans of alternative instrumental band Brontide will be pleased to hear that the band has announced a surprise farewell show in London.

The scheduled gig will take place at The Garage venue in London on Thursday 31st August 2017, with doors opening at 7:00pm. Tickets for the gig are priced £12 and can be purchased via the following link: http://www.pinkmist.co.uk/shows/14342-brontide-farewell-show

With news of the final show from Brontide, the band had this to say:

“On the 12th September 2015, unbeknownst to us we played our last show as Brontide. It has been our intention to play a proper farewell but making it happen has not been easy. Therefore; we are very excited to announce that on 31st August 2017 we will be playing our final show at The Garage, London. It will be the last time we come together to play as Brontide and we hope you can all join us for a proper send off.”

For those less familiar with Brontide, then comparisons have been drawn with the likes of Don Caballero, Russian Circles and Battles. The band also moved beyond such comparisons by incorporating various additional influences with R’n’B loops, cinematic melodies and pop influences, and therefore creating something really rather unique in UK music.

Two albums have been issued by Brontide with ‘San Souci’ and ‘Artery’ both on Holy Roar Records, as well as various EPs.

See Brontide’s final show: Thursday August 31st 2017 @ The Garage, 20-22 Highbury Crescent, London N5 1RD. £12 – 7:00pm – 14 + (U16s w/ adult).
