Famous Last Words (FLW) has finally arrived!

The lights at Famous Last Words (FLW) have finally been switched on. It has been an incredible journey to date, taking in many towns and cities, and even a few countries, in order to secure interviews with some very exciting new bands and others who are already established in the music industry.

The Lucky Bullets

The idea of this music reviews and interviews-based website is to offer something a little different by focusing on artists who are doing very well in their own right but not necessarily receiving blanket coverage in other music publications. Of course, FLW will provide topical news and interviews with current bands as we aim to cater for a broad palate of tastes. In addition, FLW wishes to display our passions for music by informing about as many bands as possible within the genres of music we are catering for (i.e. indie, blues, country, folk and rockabilly, with the added inclusion of rock ‘n’ roll).

With FLW being based in Oslo, Norway, the website will have a strong focus on Norwegian artists but the main intention of this publication is to have an international focus. Therefore, we are always on the lookout for new and established bands to interview no matter the location in order to maintain a level of consistency in terms of new articles to keep our readership interested, but also because FLW is genuinely interested in hearing about the lives and times of these artists as well.

FLW will aim to bring added features to the website over time, as well as interviews with a variety of different people who work in the music industries.

In terms of this first issue of FLW, please find enclosed interviews with some of Norway’s finest – Superfamily, I Was A King and The Lucky Bullets, as well as UK artists The Crookes, Big Boy Bloater and a farewell interview from Hell Is For Heroes.

We hope that you like the first edition of FLW, and the bands covered within its pages, as we are genuinely excited about this issue, as we will be regarding forthcoming editions. Please keep coming back to Famous Last Words as we aim to update its pages frequently. Thanks for reading!
