Monster Jaw Call Time On Their Career

As 2015 starts to draw to a close, another band decides to call time on their career.

After three years of recording and performing live, alternative rock band, Monster Jaw, officially announced their decision to spilt.

The decision to call time on Monster Jaw comes with a final single release titled ‘Why?’, which has been made available as a free download. The single also sees guest vocals from Justin Sullivan (New Model Army) and internationally renowned poet Joolz Denby. In addition, production was handled by Monster Jaw’s Mik Davis, with mastering carried out by long-term collaborator Wes Maebe (Libertines, Robert Plant).

A review of the single ‘Why?’ has been published at Famous Last Words (FLW):

Final words of the day are left to Monster Jaw’s lead vocalist, Mik Davis:

“It’s been a wild three years for Monster Jaw – we’ve achieved many great things together, but most importantly stuck together through some tough times and stayed friends. We wanted to end things properly, so we decided to record our final single ‘Why?’ as an epitaph for our short time together. It’s been a chance for us musically to re-visit our roots and channel some of our anger and frustration at the world around us. If we’re only ever remembered for one track – then we’d like it to be this one.”
