More Tea For Earl Grey

More Tea For Earl Grey

It’s official, post-hardcore and indie-punk band EARL GREY return with a brand new EP ‘The Times You Cross My Mind’.

The forthcoming EP is the band’s third recorded output after ‘Ready To Leave’ and ‘Passing Time’, which is an impressive return considering Earl Grey has only been in existence for two years.

Being described as “Anthemic, aggressive and melodic in equal measures,” Earl Grey certainly fit such a description, but there’s also a sense of fun to their music where any notion of taking yourself too seriously appears far removed from their makeup, which the band’s video accompaniment to lead track ‘Nothing’ certainly attests to.

With parts of Mönchengladbach’s (Germany) gritty urban areas providing a backdrop to Earl Grey’s equally coarse sounds and lyrics, the German five piece could be on the verge of something special, especially with the likes of Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, Alt Press and Rock Sound providing critical acclaim and taking a genuine interest in the band.

Sean Duddy (part of Edinburgh pop-punk band Woes) was the man responsible for producing Earl Grey’s third EP, ‘The Times You Cross My Mind’, with mastering carried out by Seb Barlow (Neck Deep, As It Is, WSTR).
