Shell Of A Shell Album News + Tour Dates
Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Shell Of A Shell is set to release their debut album ‘Already There’. Band member Chappy Hull divided his time between two other bands (Gnarwhal and Pile) whilst writing and recording solo versions of the songs to appear on Shell Of A Shell’s debut album. In order to realise his vision, Chappy Hull decided to form a full unit by recruiting Nick Swafford (Teddy and the Rough Riders), Noel Richards (Watcher), and Dylan Liveryman.
With bands such as Unwound, Deftones and Television being cited as influences, it has been said that Shell Of A Shell take a unique approach to post-punk, sludge pop, and the rawest edges of indie rock.
From the forthcoming debut album ‘Already There’, Shell Of A Shell share their debut single of the same name, which they describe as: “Already There” is a song about false contentment, a ripping examination that “maybe things could actually be better”.
