Single & Music Video Premiere For This Sect
Out today is the brand-new single and music video ‘There Is Something Wrong With Our Hearts’ form Norwegian post-punk band This Sect.
‘There Is Something Wrong With Our Hearts’ is the second single to be issued from the band’s sophomore album ‘Everything We Know Into A Black Hole’, which was released during March this year.
Adjusting to life post ‘Everything We Know Into A Black Hole’, This Sect is a group gaining momentum once more. With a considerable wait to see the current long player finally come to life, in other words the album that almost never was due to one serious debilitating personal issue, in addition to other factors concerning the rest of the post-punk outfit from Norway, life for This Sect is beginning to look considerably sweeter.
Reasons for a modicum of positivity follows strong reactions to first single ‘Stain Remover’, not to mention the album in general.
Officially released today (May 7, 2021) via Sect Appeal Records, ‘There Is Something Wrong With Our Hearts’ reveals a shift in sound from previous output from This Sect, and one that sees the band applying more weight to their use of electronics, not to mention getting in tune with their melodic side considering the (not completely) catchy elements of this latest song mainly due to its anthemic-esque chorus. It is a massive step in the right direction that sees the band remaining on their “creative” toes and, if anything, keeps their growing audience second-guessing.
To accompany the single release, This Sect issue a music video that will appeal to cat lovers as well.
The music video ‘There Is Something Wrong With Our Hearts’ can be viewed @ Famous Last Words (FLW).
